Dilapidation Reports
If you are about to commence works that may involve deep excavation, earth ramming, drilling and hammering, in close proximity to other buildings, it is advisable to assess the condition of those buildings prior to commencement of your work.
This is called a Dilapidation Report and it exposes any defects, cracks, loose fixtures, crumbling brick work or render on neighbouring properties.
Knowing the condition of those nearby properties minimises the risk of unjustified claims as a result of your work.
Photographs and measurements are taken of any areas of
those properties that may have defects.
